My own cat Murka, with whom I have a long and fruitful but complicated relationship, inspired this comic strip. I should admit I am also guilty of having a little cemetery for her kills. However, this story is a fiction, as I’m not my cat’s partner in crime!

Deep Water
The booklet consists of two chapters (11” x 17” posters), a letter from Aaron Hicklin, the founder of the Deep Water Festival, and six pages filled with illustrations, comics, and quotes from the event. The main theme of 2019 was Grimm’s Fairy Tales, and it featured a truly magnificent cast of participants, including Lucy Taylor, Tilda Swinton, Alexander Chee, Luc Santé, Emily Flake, Marlon James, and many, many others.
